Lorraine E. Knapp, 95, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Linden Village in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Mark L. Knapp.
Born in Auburn on December 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Ellen Miller Boyer.
Lorraine had worked for Pennfield Farms, and later, she worked at Concern for Kids. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg and was active in ELCA. She was also a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna C. Knapp, of Jonestown, and her grandson, Michael Knapp, and his companion, Shamaila, of Denver, CO. Lorraine was the last of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Allen L. Knapp.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
