Louise M. Lloyd, 92, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at The Lebanon Valley Home in Annville.

Louise was born in Lebanon on March 24, 1933, to the late Thomas Lloyd Sr. and Sadie (Krick) Lloyd. She was a 1951 graduate of Lebanon High School. Some may remember Louise from her years of tending the Lloyd’s Potato Chips stand at local markets with her family. The company was active during the 1930s until the early 1960s. In those days, the family’s potato chips were widely available at corner stores and farmers’ markets throughout the Lebanon area. Later, Louise worked in retail before becoming a dog groomer and the proprietor of Shady Oak Dog Grooming.

Louise enjoyed watching classic movies and spending time with her beloved dogs. She was also an avid Philadelphia Flyers and Hershey Bears fan, and more recently, she enjoyed following the Philadelphia Phillies.

Louise is survived by her niece, JoEllen Walters, and her husband, Donald, of Lebanon; and great-nephews, Nathan Walters, and his wife, Josette, of Annville, and Thomas Walters, and his wife, Brittany, of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Lloyd Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Schaeffertown Cemetery, Miller and Church streets, Schaefferstown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lebanon Valley Home, Benevolent Fund, 550 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003.
