Louise Mary Shutter (Clews) passed away on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, at Spang Crest in Lebanon. She was lulled into the arms of her beloved late husband, Craig, by the tunes of Barry Manilow with her daughters by her side.
Louise was born on Dec. 30, 1939, in Centralia, PA, and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna (Levan) Clews.
She was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon High School and married Craig E. Shutter on March 17, 1962. Before Craig’s passing in 2017, they celebrated 55 years of marriage. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her flower garden. Louise’s love language was baking. If you knew her, chances were, you were the recipient of chocolate chip cookies or blueberry muffins. She considered herself Barry Manilow’s #1 Fan and attended numerous concerts over the years.
Louise is survived by two daughters, Robin L. Searle, of Wyomissing, and Jennifer S. Stutzman (Richard), of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Jason Searle, Ava Stutzman, and Lila Stutzman; one brother, Ralph Clews (Kathleen); and numerous nieces and nephews.
