Louise Sarah Karsnitz, 94, of Lebanon, PA, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Roger T. Karsnitz, who passed away November 17, 2011.

Born in Lebanon, on November 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John Jacob and Miriam (Coleman) Swonger. Louise was a 1944 graduate of Myerstown High School and a 1947 graduate of The Reading Hospital Nursing School. She was employed at the Lebanon Sanatorium as an RN. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown Women’s Club, and numerous Bridge Clubs. Louise enjoyed golfing and playing Bridge. She played many years at the Lebanon Synagogue, and she enjoyed being involved with her grandchildren’s activities.

Louise is survived by a daughter, Karen Miller, wife of Michael, of Lebanon; a son, Roger Karsnitz, Jr., husband of Shelly, of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Brock Karsnitz, Nicole McCracken, Travis Miller; and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Hilgartner.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in Grose Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067. Inurnment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
