Lt. Col. Robert A. Sanderson, 75, of Annville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at Linden Village in Lebanon. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Stewart.

Born in Randolph, Vermont, on June 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Nathaniel R. and Ruth (Dearing) Sanderson. Robert was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children, Christopher R. Sanderson, companion of Loni Beard, of Coatesville, and Jennifer Lloyd, wife of Jesse, of York; stepsons, David S. Stewart, husband of Imma Joy, of Annville, and Gregory A. Stewart, husband of Andrea, of Framingdale, NJ; and grandchildren, Livia, Nellie, Jenna, Sophie, Adam, Jake, Gianna, Carter, Dillan, and Will.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 Spruce St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church in his memory. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, is handling arrangements.
