Lucille J. Firestine, 85, of Womelsdorf, died on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of George N. Firestine Jr., who died on Nov. 17, 2022.

Born on Sept. 12, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Cora Boltz. A 1958 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Lucille attended McCann School of Business. She was employed at Gloray Knitting Mills, Robesonia, for over 30 years. Lucille enjoyed playing BINGO, crocheting, and camping, especially at Eagles Peak, and loved her dogs, Pepper, Smokey, Rascal, and Jack.

She is survived by her daughters, Lucinda, wife of William Semsick, of Womelsdorf, PA, Denise, wife of Ed Strauss, of Marion Township, PA, Theresa, wife of Harold Heverling, of Austin, PA, Susan, wife of Mark Bowers, of Sinking Spring, PA; sons, Ronald, husband of Bonita Firestine, of Womelsdorf, PA, Dale Firestine, of Mohrsville, PA, Gary Firestine, of Womelsdorf, PA; grandchildren, Derek, Nick, Shawn, Victor, Haley, Ryan, Erik, Morgan, Danielle, and Stephanie; nine great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at 2 p.m., at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
