Lucille J. Hostetter, 86, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Keystone Villa at Ephrata. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kreider D. Hostetter.
Born in Bellegrove, PA, on September 12, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon H. and Ruth (Yordy) Snoke.
Lucille loved nothing more than to gather around a dinner table with her family to enjoy delicious food and great conversation. She did much in her lifetime. She worked in a factory for many years and then owned a restaurant, bar, and hotel with her husband. After retiring, she and her husband traveled from coast to coast in a motorhome seeing the sights for a few years. She went on to become a realtor later in life. Finally, before fully retiring, she worked in marketing, demonstrating products at Walmart. She enjoyed time with her family and was always looking for the next adventure.
Surviving is two daughters, Pamela R. Usciak, wife of Mark of Lancaster, PA, Kathleen L. Preston, wife of Alan of Phoenixville, PA; three siblings, Carroll Snoke, husband of Inga of Cornwall, PA, Lyndith Garosi of Millersville, PA, Larry Snoke, husband of Carol of Bloomsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Adam M. Usciak, Amy L. Usciak, and James Preston.
A public visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2022, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
