Lucille M. Sheaffer, 87, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at the Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Harrisburg. She was the wife of the late Walter Sheaffer.
Born in Lebanon on March 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Aretta McMaster Bender.
Lucille retired from Kay Jewelers, where she was the store manager at the mall. She was a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church in Lebanon.
She is survived by her son, Michael S., and his wife, Kathleen Haines, of Fairfax Station, VA; daughter, Joni L., wife of John Haddox, of Texas City, TX; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Bender; and her longtime companion, Charlie R. Gingrich.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
