Luke W. Weaver, 72, of Myerstown, passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Lois J. (Stover) Weaver.

Born in Myerstown on July 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Ivan W. and Lavina W. Weaver.

He was a member of the Woodland Mennonite Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Carl (Ruth) Weaver, of Youngstown, OH, Marlin (Darla) Weaver, of Ephrata, Luke G. (Anita) Weaver, of Myerstown, and Kevin (Clara) Weaver, of Liberty, KY; daughters, Dorcas (Matt) Weaver, of Lisbon, OH, Janice (Jake) Gingerich, of Hayward, WI, Loisann (Anthony) Witmer, of Richmond, VA, and Dianne Weaver, of Lincoln, NE; brothers, Leon (Velma) Weaver, Ivan (Verna) Weaver, and Glen (Anna) Weaver; sisters, Erma (Glenn) Martin, Helen (John David) Martin, and Minerva (Aaron) Weaver; 56 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl (Vera) Weaver; and sisters, Miriam (John) Stover, Lavina (David) High, and Sara (Elber) Calderon.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at the Swatara Mennonite Church, 10 Camp Swatara Road, Myerstown. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.
