Lynette M. Heckard, 79, of Lebanon, PA, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Aug. 16, 1945, Lynette was a daughter of the late Ernest and Agnes (Tater) Shott. She worked as a pharmaceutical technician for the Lebanon VA Medical Center for nearly 20 years. She was a faithful and active member of St. Mary’s Church. She loved baking and her flowerbeds.

Lynette is survived by her daughter, Angela M. Heckard; grandchildren, Tyler Heckard and Kristen C. Viera; great-grandsons, Ivan Viera Jr., Roman Viera, and Warren Heckard; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Paul Heckard; siblings, Ernest Shott, Stephen Shott, Marcella Eck, and infants, Linda Kay and Kath Maureen; and her companion of 15 years, Thomas C. Long.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynette’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
