Lynford H. Krissinger, 83, of Richland, PA, died Sunday, June 27, 2021, at his residence.

He was the husband of Darlene A. (Breidigan) Krissinger. They recently celebrated 25 years of marriage. Born in Lebanon, PA on November 26, 1937, he was a son of the late Naomi L. “Polly” Krissinger. Mr. Krissinger served in the U.S. Air Force during peace time. He was self-employed as an artificial inseminator of cattle for over 50 years. Lynford loved his job, getting to know his farmers and their families, and driving around in his Volkswagens all over the counties. He always had a dog bone or 2 in his pockets. Lynford was a member of Kochenderfer United Methodist Church, Lebanon. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, raising pigeons and other livestock. He especially enjoyed being with his puppies, Teddy and Maggie.

In addition to his wife, Lynford is survived by his first wife, Kathleen Allwein; children, Jennifer I., wife of Michael Lyons, Ned A Krissinger, husband of Diane, Jane E., Wife of Randy Mitchell; grandchildren, Katelyn, Christopher, Lauryn, Chelsey, Cody, Stephanie, and Peter; and four great grandchilden.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Krissinger and grandson, Stephen Lyons.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
