M. Caroline Hostetter, 91, of North Annville Twp., died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, in Pleasant View Communities in Manheim. She was the wife of Penrose W. Hostetter with whom she shared 72 years of marriage.

Born in Hot Springs, VA on Nov. 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Alva Perry Patteson. She worked for her husband as a secretary and bookkeeper for Hostetter Surge Sales and Service in North Annville Twp. Caroline was a 1947 graduate of Lebanon High School, a member of Hershey Free Church where she taught Sunday school, Bible school, and served as a women’s mentor, and a member of the Gideons International Bible Auxiliary. She served as the President of the North Annville Elementary PTO, volunteered at the Good Samaritan Hospital, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is two daughters, Gail J., wife of Richard Klopp, of Annville, Natalie M., wife of Darrel Witmer, of Manheim, three sons, Rodney D., husband of Wilma Hostetter, of Annville, Kevin J., husband of Sandi Hostetter, of Annville, Stephen P. Hostetter, of Steelstown, 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, a brother, Basil, husband of Janet Patteson, of Annville, and a sister, Nita Grubb, of Ono. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Patteson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the North Annville Bible Church, 4590 Hill Church Rd., Annville with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in North Bellegrove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to True Life Youth Ministries, 740 Willow St., Lebanon, PA 17046 in her memory.
