Manuel A. Vega, 58, of Richland, PA, passed away in his home on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was the husband of Nancy K. Bartolett Vega to whom he was married to for almost 37 years.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on Dec. 24, 1962, he was the son of the late Antonio and Anna Bordoy Millan Vega. Manny was employed for 20 years as a salesman at Worley Lumber Co. in Wernersville and was currently employed at APR Supply in Sinking Spring and Reading for the last 16 years.

Manuel was a member of Millcreek Lutheran Church in Newmanstown. He was a 1980 graduate of Lebanon High School and enjoyed cooking, camping, target shooting, bowling, woodworking, and playing softball when he was younger. Manny loved watching movies and traveling with his wife Nancy and spending time with his cats.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a step sister, Laura Muniz. He was preceded in death by step brothers, Sarafin “Charlie” Muniz and Angelo Muniz.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Millcreek Lutheran Church, 221 N. Sheridan Road, Newmanstown, PA, with a viewing beginning on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be made in the Richland Cemetery. PLEASE FOLLOW CDC GUIDELINES.
