Marcia R. Murray, 51, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on March 24, 2026.
Born on Sept. 24, 1974, in Lebanon, PA, Marcia was the daughter of Richard and Diane Bomberger. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Cedar Crest College, Allentown, and built a meaningful career as a nuclear medicine technologist, caring for others with the same compassion she brought to every part of her life. Marcia was the beloved wife of Daniel Murray, whom she married in 2002 in Saint Lucia. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, faith, and family, and were blessed with their two children, Abigail and Lucas.
Marcia was a truly beautiful soul. She loved her family deeply and found her greatest joy in being together, whether that meant cheering on her children at their sporting events, gathering for simple moments at home, creating memories on family trips, or simply going out to dinner with her husband. She especially cherished time at their home in Bethany Beach, where she enjoyed browsing local shops and bookstores, playing board games, reading, and simply being with the people she loved most.
Her faith was an important part of her life. Marcia lived it quietly and faithfully each day, finding peace in reading her Bible every day, spending time in prayer, and listening to worship music. She carried her faith with humility and grace, and it was reflected in the way she cared for others.
Marcia had a creative spirit and a love for making things beautiful. She enjoyed refurbishing furniture and exploring antique markets. She also loved to travel, especially to places rich in history and beauty, and had a gift for thoughtfully planning trips that brought joy to everyone around her. Above all else, Marcia’s life was defined by her love for the Lord, which was displayed in her love for her husband, children, family, and friends. That love will remain with all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Murray; children, Abigail and Lucas; parents, Richard and Diane Bomberger; sister, Jodie (James) Bowers; aunts, Beverly Henry and Sharon (Russ) Greene; cousins, Michelle (Archie) Nyamekye, Karen Henry, and Timothy Greene; siblings-in-law, Peter (Kelley) Lorenzetti, Thomas (Robin) Murray, James (Michele) Murray, and Lisa (Ernie) Wenrich; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, PA 17522, with a public viewing beginning at 9 a.m. The interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the service.
