Margaret Bomberger passed away on Jan. 29, 2021, age 96, was born on Feb. 15, 1924, to the late Rosie (Kreiser) Davis and Harry Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark S. Bomberger, in June 2006 after 57 ½ years, and her first husband, John J. Stickler, who was fatally injured in the Cornwall Ore Mine on July 26, 1946, 10 months to the day after discharge from the Air Force, leaving her with an 18-day old son. Both men were WWII veterans.
She graduated from Annville High School in 1941. As her sons grew up, she was employed at Annville Shoulder Strap, from where she retired. She was an avid gardener, sharing with many.
Survived by a son, John Stickler, of Palmyra, and Dennis Bomberger, of Annville, granddaughters, Heather Betsko, of Arizona, and Lesa Taylor, of Manheim. Also preceded in death by her grandson, John J. Strickler, who died in an auto accident at age 20. She had three brothers and five sisters. She was the last sibling of the family. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a proud member of Zion Evangelical Church, Annville, and attended for over 70 years.
