Margaret M. Hartman, 92, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital. She was the wife of John Joseph Hartman, to whom she was married for 68 years.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on May 22, 1933, Margaret was a daughter of the late John and Isabel (Cassidy) Millacci. Margaret loved to read and volunteer at SCLS, handing out milk to students during lunchtime and collecting admission during the school’s home CYO basketball games, but her favorite thing to do was watching her grandkids play sports and cooking Sunday meals after church for her family with comical conversations around the table.

In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by her son, Michael John “Mike” Hartman; daughter, Theresa Annmarie “Tam” Hartman-Motter; grandchildren, Jacklyn, Gabriel, and Michael John; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, John Joseph “Jack” Hartman; brothers, John and Edward; and sisters, Mary Agnes and Marie.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11 a.m., at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA 17111. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lebanon. Viewing hours will be prior to Mass from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
