Maria C. Avila-Rosales, 50, of Hershey, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg. She was the wife of the late Octavio Corona-Mendez, who died on Sept. 30, 2008.

Born on Sept. 4, 1975, in Michoacan, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Avila and Maria Carmen Rosales. She worked for many years at Bell & Evans. In 2012, she stopped working to stay at home and take care of her children. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Corona and Paola Corona, both of Hershey; sons, Octavio Corona Jr., of Johnstown, and Fernando Corona, of Palmyra; nine grandchildren; and brother, Martin Avila, of Lebanon.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
