Maria Iovanov, 75, of Jonestown, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of the late Ilija Iovanov.

Born in Veliki Senpeter, Romania, on Aug. 4, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Dusan Kuzmity and Persida Janos Kuzmity.

Maria was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Lebanon. She loved gardening and organic farming.

She is survived by her sons, Dusan Iovanov, of Jonestown, and Misa, husband of Susan Iovanov, of Winchester, VA; brothers, Misa Cuzmici, of Jonestown, and Miroslav Cuzmici, of New York City; and her three grandchildren, Evan, Amelia, and Alec.

A viewing will be held for Maria on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Kreamer &Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, followed by the Opelo Funeral Service at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
