Marie J. Ferrara, 89, of Cornwall, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Cornwall Manor. She was the wife of the late Salvatore H. Ferrara, who passed away in 2020.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lucy (Spinelli) Scotto. Marie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lebanon. She worked for Pan American World Airways and, more recently, was the office manager for Urology Associates of Lebanon for many years. Marie loved her Italian heritage and enjoyed cooking homemade Italian dinners and other specialties for her family.

Marie is survived by her sons, Dr. Leonard P. Ferrara, and wife, Alicia, Thomas L. Ferrara, and wife, Jacqueline, and Peter T. Ferrara, and wife, Kristine Kuzma; grandchildren, Dr. Teresa Ferrara-Bowens, and husband, Christopher, John Ferrara, and wife, Cassandra, Nicholas Ferrara, Dr. Paula-Marie Ferrara, Michael Ferrara, and fiancé, Amanda, Matthew Ferrara, and wife, Rebecca, and Dr. Kristopher Ferrara, and wife, Emily; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Conor, and Charles Bowens, and two more expected this fall.

Marie was preceded in death by her brothers, Vincent Scotto and Salvatore Scotto.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11 a.m., from Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. Viewing will be held Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Additional viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at the Church.
