Marilyn D. “Lynn” Pleet, 88, Cornwall, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was the wife of David E. Pleet with whom she would have celebrated a 68th wedding anniversary on June 7th. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna David.

Lynn was a 1953 graduate of Syracuse University. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel and served as a substitute teacher for many years. She was a master gardener for over 25 years and was a member of the National Ski Patrol for 10 years. Lynn was an artist in juried craft shows and traveled internationally. She was a former writer for the Wall Street Journal and was an avid reader. She was known for her amazing smile.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 children and 4 granddaughters, who she adored.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday June 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be in Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Lebanon Community Library 125 N. 7th Street, Lebanon, PA 17046.
