Marilyn L. Boyer, 92, of Palmyra, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Londonderry Village. She was the wife of the late Marlin R. Boyer, who passed away in 2017.

Born in Hershey on June 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Sterling and Ruth (Runkel) Light. Marilyn graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1946 and went on to work as an Operator for Bell of PA.

Marilyn was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Lebanon, and Telephone Pioneers of America. She volunteered at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, as well as the Good Samaritan Hospital in the Audiology Department. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and playing pinochle.

Surviving is her daughter Elaine M. Phillips, wife of Michael, of Lansdale, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Smith.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family, with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
