Mark L. Copenhaver, 82, passed away at Linden Village on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. He is now reunited with his wife of 56 years, Alice (Forney) Copenhaver, whom he married on July 18, 1964.
He was born in Lebanon, on March 13, 1940, to the late Klein D. and Verna (Longenecker) Copenhaver.
Mark was a 1959 graduate of Cornwall Lebanon Schools. His passion was dairy farming, which he enjoyed for 50+ years. He was a member of the Annville United Christian Church, where he served faithfully on the church board. He also served on the United Christian Church Mission and Church Home Boards.
Surviving is a son, Duane (Becky Kimmel) Copenhaver, of Lebanon; two daughters, Kristy (Andy) Stewart of Bluffton, OH; Valerie (Micah) Jones of Bow, NH; 12 grandchildren, Breanne (Colton) Long, Jordan (Katelyn) Copenhaver, Luke, Jacob, Aleah, and Landen Copenhaver; Drew, Julia, Skyler, and Emily Stewart; Grant and Alethia Jones; five great-grandchildren, Carter and Brinley Long; Trinity, Charity, and Liberty Copenhaver; two sisters, Anna Mae (John) Ludwig, Cleona; Rachel (George) Kibler, Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Jesse (Martha) Copenhaver, Lebanon; Jere (Bonnie) Copenhaver (Annville); Ed (Karen) Copenhaver (Annville), and brother-in-law Glen Ziegler of Manheim.
Mark was preceded in death by a sister Reba Ziegler.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, at 10 AM at the Fontana Chapel, 22 Fontana Ave, Lebanon. Interment will be in South Annville Cemetery. Viewings will be held on Tuesday evening, September 6, from 6-8 pm at the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville, and on Wednesday, September 7, from 9 am until the time of the service at the Church.
