Marlin M. “Jake” Earhart, 80, of Annville, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
Marlin was born in Lebanon on Jan. 11, 1944, to the late John and Maggie (Gundrum) Earhart.
After 20-plus years, he retired from Keystone Weaving Mills as a weaving foreman. He was a U.S. Army paratrooper. He volunteered at the election polls. Marlin was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and a Philadelphia Phillies fan. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch with his neighbor, Jack, and spending time with his beloved cat, Kit.
He is survived by his children, Mark Stouffer, of Patton, PA, Michelle Martin (Dale), of Annville, Nicole Kropf (Michael), of Lebanon, Jerry Earhart (Brandy), of Lebanon, and Tyler Earhart (Heather), of Virginia; grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, and Ashley Kropf, Haylee Earhart, Ashley Shupp, and Dakota Stouffer; great-grandson, Braden Kropf; and brothers, Albert Earhart (Sandra) and Sylvester Earhart (Barbara).
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Earhart; and sisters, Lucille Schneck and Gloria Davis.
A procession will form at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon.
