Martha F. Schadle, 81, of Myerstown, went home to be with Jesus at her daughter’s home on Friday, June 13, 2025, surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Grant L. Schadle, who died in 2005.
Born in Mechanicsburg on July 27, 1943, Martha was the daughter of the late Delma and Barbara (Clepper) Stump. She was an LPN and worked as a private duty nurse. Martha attended the God’s Missionary Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed arts and crafts, baking, and sewing all her dresses. Most of all, Martha loved her children and grandchildren and would pray for all of them daily.
Martha is survived by her sons, Grant L., husband of Cynthia Schadle III, of Shenandoah, and Eric R. M. Schadle, of Pine Grove; daughter, Julianna Schadle, of Millersburg; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Gloria Fish.
Martha was preceded in death by her son, Daniel L. Schadle; and sister, Miriam Stump.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the God’s Missionary Church, 2127 Hill St., Lebanon. The viewing will start at 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hegins.
