Marvin A. Castro-Hernandez, 48, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Carmen Sibrian.

Born in Santiago de Maria, El Salvador, on Aug. 10, 1976, he was the son of Vincente Castro of El Salvador and the late Maria Alicia Hernandez. Marvin worked as an auto mechanic. He loved soccer and played as often as he was able. He also enjoyed going fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Ronny (Lucianne) Castro, of Lebanon, Marvin Castro, of Lebanon, and Henry Ramirez, of Lebanon; daughters, Katherine (Tony) Tran, of York, and Stephanie Castro, of Lebanon; brother, William (Norma) Castro, of Lebanon; sisters, Ana Ruth (Jose) Castro, of El Salvador, Leyli (Pastor) Castro, of Lebanon, and Alicia Castro, of Lebanon; and grandsons, Lucas and Leandro.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be no viewing, but a visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at the Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer.

Nacido en Santiago de Maria, Usulutan, El Salvador el 10 de Agosto de 1976, fue hijo de Vicente Castro de El Salvador y de la fallecida Maria Alicia Hernandez. Marvin había trabajado como mecánico de automóviles. Le encantaba jugar futbol las veces que podía. También le gustaba pescar.

Además de su esposa, le sobrevive sus hijos Ronny (Lucianne) Castro de Lebanon, Marvin Castro de Lebanon, y Henry Ramírez de Lebanon; hijas Katherine (Tony) Tran de York, y Stephanie Castro de Lebanon; hermano William (Norma) Castro de Lebanon, hermana Ana Ruth (Jose) Castro de El Salvador, Leyli (Pastor) Castro de Lebanon y Alicia Castro de Lebanon; y dos nietos Lucas y Leandro.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 11:00 am del Domingo, 8 de Junio de 2025 en Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. No habrá velorio, pero habrá una visitación a las 9:00 am hasta que empiece el servicio. El entierro va a ser en el Cementerio Covenant/Greenwood, Ebenezer.
