Heaven has a very special angel. Mary Alice Fortna, born on Nov. 21, 1937, passed away peacefully at home.

She brought a smile to everyone she met and was well-loved by everyone she met. A tireless worker and faithful friend, she will be missed forever.

Mary is survived by her sons, Scott Via (Joan) and Jeff Via; sister, Betty Buechner; beloved grandchildren, Trevor, Casey, Leigh, Nikki, and Jenna; great-granddaughter, Lilith; and stepchildren, Carl, Dave, John, and Michelle Fortna.

She is predeceased by her husbands, John Via and John Fortna; and sisters, Alice, Ann, and Sara.

Mary loved her doggies, so in lieu of flowers, please donate to your local SPCA.
