Mary A. Herman, 71, of Annville, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at her residence on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was the loving wife of Dennis S. Herman, Sr., with whom she celebrated 40 years in marriage.

Mary was born in Lebanon on May 10, 1950, to the late Charles Killian Sr. and Thelma (Meyer) Killian. Mary was a graduate of Lebanon High School. She had worked for the Hershey Medical Center in linen services for more than 20 years and had also worked for Royer’s Flowers. She had taught Sunday School at St. James Lutheran in Lebanon.

Mary enjoyed going to New York City on the weekends and traveling to Bethany Beach. She liked going to flea markets, thrifting, and frog catching after it rained. She also enjoyed watching soap operas and home renovation projects and scratching off lottery tickets. Her grandchildren were very important to her and she enjoyed spending her free time with them the most.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, J. Michael Moll, Jr., (Angela) of Gretna, VA, Scott Smith Sr. (Elizabeth) of Evington, VA, Tim Smith (Kristen) of Cleona, Christy Heilman (Lonnie Heilman, Jr.) of Lebanon, Dennis Herman, Jr. (Heather Weland) of Harrisburg, Heather Herman, of Cleona, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Sue Greenway (Royce) of Augusta, GA, Anne Bercy (JP) of Lebanon, and Charles Killian, Jr., of Lebanon.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. There will be a visitation with the family from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Casual clothing is recommended.
