Mary E. Brown, 84, of Myerstown, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026. She was the wife of Gene A. Brown, with whom she would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on March 23, 2026.

Born in Lebanon County on July 12, 1941, she was a daughter of the late William and Ethel (Miller) Deitzler. A 1959 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School, she farmed alongside her husband for over 40 years. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a green thumb and took pleasure in her flower beds.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Ronald G. Brown, husband of Melody, of Richland; grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) Fox, Joshua Brown, and Jeremy Brown; great-grandchildren, Elaina and Brantley Fox; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Lentz; and brothers, William, John, and James Deitzler.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Salem Reformed Cemetery, Bethel.
