Mary E. Brubaker, 91, of Hershey died Sunday, December 29, 2019 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Dr. Warren W. Brubaker with whom she celebrated 69 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia on February 9, 1928, she had a fondness for the small town of Narbreth and was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Warner Baily. She was a homemaker, but in her earlier years, she worked for Penn Salt in Philadelphia, AMP in Harrisburg, and for Penn Dot in Harrisburg.

Mary was a 1946 graduate of Lower Merion High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hershey and its Circle of Hope, the Annville LVC Forum, and was excellent at short-hand and stenography.

Surviving is a daughter Elaine wife of Chip O’Neal of Cornwall, a son David B. husband of Beth Brubaker of York, granddaughters Katie O’Neal and Baily Brubaker, a grandson David Brubaker, and a brother John “Jack” Baily of Wilmington, NC. She was preceded in death by a son Kurt W. Brubaker and a sister Kathryn Westman.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Hershey, 64 Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30-11:00 AM at the Church. Contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Central PA, 900 South Arlington Avenue, Suite 126, Harrisburg, PA 17109 in her memory.
