Mary E. Hower, 90, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Guy L. Hower.
Born in Lebanon on October 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie P. Clemens Gibson. Along with her husband, they owned and operated the former Hower Sanitation in Myerstown. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church in Lebanon and the Lebanon Chapter 115 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen M. wife of Freeman Miller, III, of Lebanon, grandchildren, Wendy Eckert, Freeman Miller, IV, Dani Burrus, and Cass Bullock, four great-grandchildren, and her companion, Jere Snavely.
She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Thomas Hower.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, and interment will be at Kimmerling’s Cemetery.
