Mary E. Yordy, 59, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the longtime companion of James D. Johnson.

Born in Lebanon on August 4, 1963, she was the daughter of Earl M. Yordy, Sr., of Lebanon, and the late Shirley A. Beamesderfer Yordy.

Mary loved to read, do puzzles, latch hook crafts, watch game shows and soap operas, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her companion, she is survived by her children: Nicole B. Johnson of Harrisburg, Jamie L. wife of William Labe of Lebanon, Sheena R. Tolentino of Shamokin, Michael B. Johnson of Pine Grove, Kelly M. Johnson of Lebanon, and Adam D. Johnson of Lebanon; brothers Ronald E. Yordy of Lebanon and Earl M. “Jr.” Yordy of Jonestown; sisters Lori A. Tarhouni of Allentown and Bobbi S. Shaffer of Lebanon; and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
