Mary Elizabeth Brightbill, 67, of Downingtown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Mary was born in Lebanon on July 23, 1954, to the late Robert and Mary Louise (Kline) Brightbill.

Soon after graduating from Palmyra High School in 1972, she moved to the Chester County area. There she worked for Vanguard for over 30 years as a Web Content Administrator. Mary was very caring and generous to family and friends throughout her life and she had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, traveling, and attending jazz concerts and the fountain shows at Longwood Gardens.

Surviving is her cousins Vicki Lingle and her husband Dale of Annville, Frederick Strupp II and his wife Robin of Annville, Brenda Kolakowski and her husband Doug of Palmyra, and Angela Early of Palmyra. Additional family members include Jerney Taylor Jr. and Maddie Reed and her husband Greg.

A graveside service will be held at Gravel Hill Cemetery on Saturday, June 4th at 10:30 am.
