Mary Jane Rinehard, 78, of Lebanon, passed away from emphysema at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, June 14, 2020.

She was born on April 23, 1942 in Berwick, PA to Wilson and Phyllis Fedder. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Earl Rinehard, in 2009.

Mary Jane was an avid fan of Syracuse basketball, NASCAR and “In the Kitchen with David” on QVC, and was a voracious true crime reader, quilter, and jigsaw puzzle fiend before macular degeneration took her vision. Prior to moving to Lebanon, PA in 2016, Mary Jane called Syracuse, NY home for 47 years. A homemaker her entire life, in addition to raising her children, Mary Jane’s other focus was operating the “Clothing Closet,” an outreach program at her church in Syracuse.

Mary Jane is survived by her sister and spouse, Barbara and John Thomas, of Harrisburg, PA, daughter and spouse, Jean and Susan Salomone, of Syracuse, NY, daughter and spouse, Amy and Aaron Sullivan of Lebanon, PA, grandchildren, Jayne, AJ, Matteo, Mia, and Jacob, and great grandchild, Gianna.

Per her wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation at www.macular.org.
