Mary L. Glassford, 72, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Glassford.
Born in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Loretta and John Harbay.
Mary was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, buying homemade sweets, and feeding people. You never left Mary’s house without food. Mary spent her career pouring love into her community through Head Start. Mary loved all the parents with her whole heart and soul.
Mary had the best laugh, and her laugh was contagious. She was the life of every party. Her eyes would light up a room, and her smile warmed your soul. Mary was the kind of person who made the world a better place just by being in it. She will be fiercely missed. Although she is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her children, Angela L. Forry, wife of David Forry, and Brock J. Glassford, husband of Katie Glassford; sister, Jean Wright (preceded in death by husband, John Wright); and four grandchildren whom she loved so very much, Luke, Olivia, Cadyn, and Colin.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Denny Harbay.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2-3 p.m., at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Memorial services to follow at 3 p.m.
