Mary M. Moyer, 99, of Myerstown, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Stone Ridge Towne Centre, Myerstown. She was the wife of Charles E. Moyer, who died February 10, 1999.

Born in Perry Twp., PA on March 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Edna (Rothermel) Ney. Mary was a member of Zion’s & St. John’s (Reed’s) Lutheran Church, Womelsdorf; member of the Ladies Auxiliary Mt. Pleasant Fire Company, Bernville; and a former member of the Marion Fire Company, Stouchsburg. She was employed at Publix Shirt Factory, Myerstown, for 40 years, and also worked on the family farm. She was an avid Phillies fan.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Ella Bicksler, of Bernville; grandchildren, Paula Koch of Mt. Aetna, Dawn wife of Brian Blouch of Bethel, John Bicksler of Myerstown, Holly wife of Keith Blatt of Fredericksburg; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one great-great-granddaughter; two nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ivy Stricker; and a brother, Jackson Ney.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
