Mary R. Tobias, 89, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Traditions of Hershey. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard L. Tobias Sr.

Born in Campbelltown, PA, on Dec. 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Earl L. and Ella (Scheetz) Heisey.

Surviving is four children, Debra T. Lotier, wife of Paul, of Palmyra, Scott A. Tobias, of Mechanicsburg, Tina T. Pyles, wife of Richard, of Annville, and Richard L. Tobias Jr., husband of Margaret Ely, of Lebanon; nine grandchildren, Crystal, Paul, Michelle, Ronald, Andrew, Dane, Brandon, Cameron, and Tanner; seven great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Dianne Tobias.

In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Ronald L. “Ronnie” Tobias Sr.; and four siblings, Pearl Fox, Richard Heisey, Dorothy Kline, and Polly Ulrich.

A public visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Kochenderfer’s Cemetery, Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Fragile X Foundation, fragilex.org, in her memory. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is handling arrangements.
