Mary Ruth Unger, 88, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, at Alpine Valley Post Acute and Healthcare Center, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles “Lindy” Unger.

Born in Pottsville, PA, on Nov. 28, 1936, Mary was the daughter of the late Harry Fulmer and the late Hilda (Bates) Koons.

Mary is survived by her children, Paddy Kindt, wife of Jimmy, of Lebanon, Jacqueline Levy, wife of Scott, of Mechanicsburg, and George Loverich, of Palmyra; brother, Rodney Ditzler; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Fulmer.

A procession will form at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Committal services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, in her memory. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, is handling arrangements.
