Maurgaret O. Walters, 83, of Cleona, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James K. Walters.
Born in Boise, ID, on Aug. 10, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Drusilla V. (Darkwood) Sheffield. Maurgaret enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, and quilting.
Surviving are her children, Diana Bennett, wife of David, of Cleona, PA, and Kerry J. Walters, husband of Rose, of Cleona, PA; grandchildren, David Bennett Jr., husband of Colleen, Robert Bennett, and Heather Swinnerton, wife of Russell; and great-grandchildren, James Swinnerton, Kolby Bennett, Gavin Bennett, Alex Bennett, and Jordan Bennett.
In addition to her husband, Maurgaret was preceded in death by her brothers, William T. Sheffield, Thomas A. Sheffield, and Monroe Sheffield; and grandson, James Walters.
A public viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067, in her memory. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, is handling arrangements.
