Melvin R. “Mel” Noll, 96, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at his home.

He was born on Tuesday, Apr. 22, 1924, to the late Ammon Noll and Amanda Noll nee Arzbaecher, in Newmanstown. He was a member of Millcreek Lutheran Church and was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He enjoyed all aspects of airplanes. He was a mechanic and would tinker with machinery and fixing things. Mel also enjoyed gardening.

Surviving is daughters, Maxine R. Maser, and Michelle R. Kaufman, and spouse, Chuck; grandchildren, Laura Ptak, and spouse, Eric, Shannon Kaufman, Sarah Noll, and Julia Noll; great-grandchild, Lillian Ptak; and daughter-in-law, Cathy Noll. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Noll nee White; and his son, Michael Noll.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Grand View Memorial Park.
