Michael A. Bleyer, 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret A. (Fischer) Bleyer.
Born in Mount Joy, PA, on Jan. 30, 1941, Michael was a son of the late Clarence and Edith (Gamber) Bleyer. He really enjoyed drag racing, astronomy, science, and computers, in which he received a degree in electronics. He was also a black belt in Judo, which he taught at the YMCA, as well as an avid bowler.
He is survived by his children, Michael Bleyer, husband of Holly, Edward Bleyer, husband of Gianna, Stephen Bleyer, and Michelle Jefferys, wife of Darrel; grandchildren, Jarid, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Justin, Lauren, Hannah, Bailey, Morgan, Olivia, and Brady; great-grandchildren, Noah, Justin, Christian, Oliver, Callum, and Rylie; sisters, Patricia, wife of Robert Childs, and Teresa, wife of J. Michael Eshelman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dr. John Bleyer and Thomas Bleyer; and sister, Carol Doyle.
