Michael A. “Mike” Stefonich, 75, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Fasnacht) Stefonich, to whom he was married for 50 years.

Born in Cornwall, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mary (Wolf) Stefonich.

Mike graduated from Cedar Crest High School and retired after 39 years from the City of Lebanon as a highway superintendent. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, where he was an usher and enjoyed working in the funnel cake booth at the summer bazaars. Mike was a 3rd-degree member of the Fr. Michael Barrett Knights of Columbus Council #9875 and a 4th-degree member of the Msgr. John J. Lawley Knights of Columbus Assembly #973 in Lebanon, where he was involved with the color corps. He enjoyed woodworking, was an avid golfer who was a member of the Pine Meadows Senior League, and enjoyed gardening. Mike loved traveling with his wife to Australia and Alaska, coached little league baseball in Ebenezer, and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Nicholas P. Stefonich, and wife, Melissa, of Lebanon, and Kate M. Davies, of Myerstown; three granddaughters, Emma Davies, Vanessa, and Allison Stefonich; four sisters, Frances, wife of Neal Horst, of Sarasota, FL, Lucille, wife of Clifford Taylor, of Ann Arbor, MI, Mary, wife of Ralph Benner, of Homosassa, FL, and Kathryn, wife of Kevin Tarsiewicz, of Ft. Myers, FL; and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville, with Rev. Kevin Coyle as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at the Church.
