Michael E. Orehek, 71, of Annville, passed away at home with family by his side on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.  He was born Thursday, Nov. 10, 1949, to the late Frank E. and Fern (Funck) Orehek.  He is survived by his loving wife Janice E. (Graff) Orehek.

Michael was a faithful and a lifetime member of the Trinity United Church in Palmyra.  He was also a member of the Steelstown Gun Club, Blue Mountain Snow Mobile Club, and the Martz Pheasant Farm.  He was a lifetime member of the NRA and he worked at Umbergers of Fontana as a parts manager.  In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling,  but more than anything he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Wendy Garrison and husband Scott, grandchildren, Hunter and Sierra Garrison, sister, Linda Bechtel, nephews, David and Kevin Hott, aunt, Marleen Blauch, and uncle, Glenn Orehek.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 8th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.  A time of viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service.  Burial will follow the service on Monday at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.  A viewing will also be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to his church, Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Pamyra, PA 17078.
