It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael J. “Mike” Badamo, a loving husband, son, and dedicated truck driver, who departed this life on Oct. 7, 2025, at the age of 51.
Born on Nov. 4, 1973, in Hazleton, PA, Michael lived his life in Barnesville, where he made countless memories with family and friends. Michael is survived by his beloved spouse, Crystal Badamo nee Yeakley; mother, Elaine Badamo; and father, Michael Badamo. He was a devoted family man, with a deep love for his kids, Nathan Francis, Addison Michaela, and Cody Michael Badamo, and cherished times spent with them.
Michael worked tirelessly in the transportation industry, having been employed by Walmart Transportation for over five years, where he was regarded as a reliable and hardworking member of the team.
Outside of work, Michael had a passion for adventure, particularly enjoying riding his side-by-side vehicles, which brought him immense joy. He also had a love for the simple things in life, such as sharing moments over Dunkin’ Donuts coffee.
Michael’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service at the Church of St. Richard, Barnesville, at 1 p.m., with a public viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025. Graveside services will be at Christ UCC Church Cemetery, Barnesville, following the service. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
