Michael John Weiss, 88, of Paradise, died peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, with his beloved wife by his side. He was the husband of Ann Dotter Weiss for 64 years.

Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, he is the son of the late Frank Weiss and the late Matilda Yodis Weiss.

Michael was a high school math teacher in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Once retired, Ann and Michael moved to Lake Wallenpaupack in Greentown, PA, where he enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He and his wife have traveled all over the world together. They especially loved their summer vacations to Hilton Head Island and spending winters in Myrtle Beach. Michael was a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Notre Dame fan and loved all sports.

He was a spiritual man and was a part of the church in Greentown, PA. He will forever be remembered for his patience, sweet, calm demeanor, and for his devotion to his family.

Michael is survived by his children, Michele (Frank) Cozze, of Lancaster, Renee (Neil) Hallowell, of Gap, Michael (Theresa) Weiss, of New Jersey, and David (Terri) Weiss, of New Jersey. He also had five adoring grandchildren, Samantha Cozze, of Pittsburgh, Tara Hallowell, of Coatesville, Thomas Cozze, of Red Lion, Regina Weiss, of Virginia, and Melissa Cozze, of Gap, along with 10 wonderful great-grandchildren.
