Michael Joseph Riehl, 59, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at home.

Mike as he was known, enjoyed watching NFL football and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, and spending time at the beach areas. For many years he volunteered as transport aide for the Good Samaritan Hospital. Mike’s greatest joy was children and grandchildren, and loved spending time with his family, walking on the boardwalk or just around a mall. He was always sure to check in on his family with daily “how are you doing?” texts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fortna, and father Samuel Riehl. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family: his sons Michael (Mikey) Riehl and Dallas Riehl; daughter in law Natalie Riehl; grandchildren Noah Riehl, Miles Riehl, Todd, Anthony, Tyson, and Athena; brother Steven Riehl, sisters Cindy (Ditzler) Carter, and Lynn (Riehl) Ratcliffe; nieces and nephews, Michael Riehl, Nicole Riehl, Kristy Garloff, Megan Bell, Ashley Aubin, Brandon Ritchie, Alease Carter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
