Michael P. MacNamara, 75, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Nancy D. Smith MacNamara of Lebanon. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in January.
Born in Huntingdon on April 20, 1948, he was the son of the late William K. MacNamara III and Dorothy (Kemp) MacNamara.
Michael graduated from Huntingdon Area High School with the Class of 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He then served in the Army Reserve as a Sergeant First Class. He then went on to work as an electronics mechanic as a civilian for the Army at Fort Indiantown Gap and Fort Drum in Watertown, NY, where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and NASCAR. He was a former owner of his own dirt racing team and was an avid music fan. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his two dogs, Bella and Gracie.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Michael P. Jr., husband of Cottie MacNamara, Caterina K., wife of Chad Bowers, Charlotte L. MacNamara, and her partner, Frankie Camacho, Regina K., wife of Steven Santos, Melanie S., wife of Robert Warner, and Bradley A. McMinn; grandchildren, Victoria, wife of Ryan Mullen, Jeremy Long, Joshua Bowers, Roberto Marti III, Royal Marti, Antonio MacNamara, Samuel (Lucky) Sierra, Sebastian Sierra, Stevie Santos, Kierra Santos, Devan Warner, and Kyle Warner; and great-grandchildren, Willow Mullen, Malachi Mullen, Brayden Marti, Xavion Marti, and Jeremiah Santos.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brock A. Warner; and brother, William K. MacNamara III.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
