Miriam G. (Landis) Bauman, 88, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at her home. She was the loving and dedicated wife of David B. Bauman, Jr. On September 25th, they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lancaster on April 20, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Elam O. and Ruth F. (Garman) Landis.

Miriam worked faithfully alongside her husband in many ministries, including the Mt. Zion Retreat Center, Roaring Branch, PA and Youth With a Mission (YWAM), Lebanon, PA. As a couple, they traveled to many countries around the world with YWAM sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, Jonestown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Carolyn (Roy) Zimmerman, Melvin (companion Jan Delvey) Bauman, Jerry (Rhonda) Bauman, and Kathy Bauman; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; siblings Mark (Alma) Landis, John (Eileen) Landis, Ruth (John) Lutz, Elizabeth (Ken) Nissley, Rhoda (Frank) Cicero, and James (Alta) Landis.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, 600 Shepherd St., Jonestown. A viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will be at the Myerstown Mennonite Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
