Miriam W. Ziegler, 97, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Sebring, FL, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at United Zion Retirement Community in Lititz. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Ziegler, who passed away in 2011.

Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late John A. Sr. and Elizabeth M. (Royer) Weierbach. Miriam was a 1945 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1947 graduate of Lebanon Business College. Miriam and her late husband, Charles, were the owners and operators of Ziegler Ice Cream for 22 years. She was a former member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Miriam moved to Sebring, FL, in 1974, graduated from Tampa Business College in 1975, and worked for the Beall Department Store and the First Union Bank, both in Sebring.

She is survived by her children, Charlene, wife of Richard Truex, Gary Ziegler, Charles Ziegler, and wife, Jean Mary, Loretta “Lori” Grossman, and the late Dr. Philip Grossman, and Jane Ziegler; grandchildren, Laura Ziegler, Bryan Ziegler, Eric Grossman, Lanny Grossman, and Todd Truex; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Weierbach; and sisters, Marcella Weierbach and Elizabeth Diebus.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Ziegler; brothers, Alfred Weierbach, John A. Weierbach Jr., Mark Weierbach, and Warren Weierbach; and sisters, Allegra Weierbach, Mildred Shirk, Annetta Hitz, and Ethel Lippert.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Grand View Memorial Park, 500 N. Weaber St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Please meet at the cemetery office upon arrival.
