Muriel Irene Hurst, 92, of Lebanon, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvey Hurst, and her twelve siblings.

Her faith was strong and we are sure Heaven is rejoicing in her homecoming.

Born in Lancaster, PA, on March 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mabel Frederick.

For many years, she was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Lebanon, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and being outdoors.

She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her faith and family gave her a full and happy life.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Nevill, wife of Francis Nevill; her son, Jon Hurst, husband of Sharon Hurst; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Please join us in celebrating her life. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Rohland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a tribute donation may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
