Nancy Lee Meil, 86, of Myerstown, PA, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Joseph Donald Meil, to whom she married on Feb. 15, 1958.
Born in Upper Darby, PA, on Jan. 19, 1939, Nancy was a daughter of the late John and Minnie (Oldtman) Burkholder. A 1956 graduate of Clifton Heights High School, Nancy was employed as a file clerk at State Farm Insurance in Springfield, PA, for seven years. She was also the activities director at Bishop Nursing Home in Media, PA. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing cards and board games.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Kevin Meil, husband of Lisa, of Lititz, and Keith Meil, husband of Adrienne, of Media; and grandchildren, Quinton, Tyler, and Rachael.
Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth MacRae; and brother, Bill Burkholder.
Final services are private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
